I must admit, I really like my new room, despite its long distance from the bathroom (I was definitely spoiled for that last year). While I don't have as much storage space, the room still feels more spacious than the old one.
I think the only thing which is really bugging me is the fact that because we're on the ground floor (sort of, that is - we're the ground floor because we're in the back of the building; those up front are on the first floor because the dorm was built into the side of a hill) and our room borders the back doors, people are always banging on our window for us to let them in the usually-locked back door. I nearly had a heart attack tonight when someone both banged and yelled through the window (which has the blinds drawn in order to attempt to dissuade people from knocking...). I ignore them, always. I am no one's servant. They can walk around front like everyone else. Maybe I'll post a sign...

I was in the middle of writing up some fic recs last night when, after seeing that it was one am, realized that my potential post was becoming very essay-like. It's long and still unfinished, hence the change in layout. Had to widen up this table, baby. XD It'll get posted, but probably later rather than sooner since I'll be packing most of the day tomorrow (erm, today ^^;;) in preparation for Sunday's trip back to school. That, and I'm writing this now, aren't I? (=^D)
I've added a few more links these past couple of days, both blogs and other pages. I can't help it; I like good writing and interesting worldviews. It's those other viewpoints that have broaden my own thinking over the years, and I suppose I really have the internet to thank for that. Life would be so boring without being able to learn about how others see the world, don't you think? (^_^)

::cries:: I just washed a new pair of pants and they turned green! (;__;) I didn't realize that someone had put in the forest green sheet that we use to keep one of the loveseats clean of cat fur in the washer...I thought I was doing someone a favor by running their clothes... (U_U)
